Job Title: Director of Organizational Management

Reports To: Deputy Director General

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Organizational Management is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the administration and human resources departments within the organization. This position is critical in driving efficient operations, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective management of the organization’s administrative and human resources functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Planning -Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.

2. Administrative Oversight – Provide leadership and guidance to the administration department, overseeing daily operations, budget management, facilities management, and administrative support functions.

3. Human Resources Management – Lead and oversee the human resources department, ensuring the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and practices in alignment with organizational goals. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

4. Team Leadership – Manage and provide direction to a team of administrative and HR professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth, and ensuring effective teamwork and communication across departments.

5. Organizational Development – Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent retention, and corporate culture.

6. Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and proactively manage and mitigate administration and human resources activities risks.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration – Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as senior management and department heads, to understand their needs, provide guidance, and align administrative and HR strategies with organizational objectives.

8. Performance Evaluation – Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the administration and HR departments, track progress, and report on outcomes to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
  • 1+ years of progressive leadership experience in administration and/or human resources
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex organization
  • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and operations management
  • Experience with talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build and manage high-performing teams
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and automation Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills
